While there are many different factors that impact home prices, one strategy that can help more people access homes in their price range is simply building more homes – at all price points.
This idea can seem counterintuitive, however, we found this great, 90 second, explainer video produced by the Sightline Institute to be an effective way to make sense of this concept. We’re promoting this video through a social media ad campaign this month in hopes that more people will come to see building more housing in our existing communities as beneficial for affordability – AND for the planet.
